DD (newly 6) and I were cuddling on the couch today. I was asking her questions about the days of the week and trying to trick her. I was unsuccessful! Then I gave her an easy question, "What day is today?" She smiled slyly and replied, "The day after yesterday!" *Giggle* I had to think about that one, but realized she was correct! LOL!

that is cute sometimes it amazes me how smart little kids are. My ds is 2 & knows the difference between an owl, eagle, parrot, macaw, & penguin.

When Emily was 5 and in preschool, they had to bring a show-and-tell thingie every week that corresponded to a letter in the alphabet. The week of Q, I didn't think she had brought something that day. I expressed regret that she hadn't had a show-and-tell thing that day. Well, it turned out she had brought this Easter basket thing that was shaped like a duck. I had to ask her what was the Q thing? She said, "Quack!" I can't believe I had to ask her.
