I thought I felt a little change in her gums(she enjoys teething on my hands and fingers.) I looked in her mouth and there's two little blood spots with clear centers in them. I ran my nail along them and yup, TEETH! Well, no more chewing on my hands or fingers. I ran in and woke DH up and scared the bejeezus out of him, lol! He thought something was wrong.

Wow its so amazing how much age varies with teeth, my ds had all his baby teeth by the time he was 8 months! He got his first ones when he was just 3 months and they just kept coming!! It is exciting for the first ones till they bite you, LOL!!!!!!! Since my ds was so young it was hard to make him understand not to bite!

My ds had teeth at 4 months & was done by 11 months. My dd has been teething for the past month & a half to no avail. A friend of mine her ds is 10 months old has 2 teeth (he looks like a vampire LOL).

they aren't really visable yet, they look like little clear bumps, but when they come in further(sp?) I'll post a pic, I have a pic of her in my profile though, she's such a cutie!!

None of my kids had teeth until 8 months. I think it is some kind of heriditary thing. Congrats to you and your dd!

LOL Amy...i think its ok, all kids are different, my step dd did not get her first ones till she was 11 months and she is 3 now and just got the rest in!

Kids get their teeth at different times. My son's first started appearing at 7 months and by the time he was 11 months all but the last four molars had come in. Talk about up nights with teething! He was cutting teeth constantly for 4 months!

They are all so different. My DS's first tooth came in at 5 mos.. DD didn't get any until she was almost a year old.

My first daughter got teeth when she was 5 months old. I can't remember for the second one. With Emily, the younger one, I know she got the first two on the bottom and then got the next six almost all at once! I don't remember how old they were when they were done, though.

is she handling the teething well? i hope so !
My oldest DS is still teething (i think that the ones that are coming in are his molars) he is 2.5 (3 in oct).
on the other hand my DD is turning 8 next month & she is loosing teeth

she doesn't seem to be bothered by it, except that she's waking up in the middle of the night again She was JUST starting to sleep through the night, for the last two weeks. But other than trouble sleeping she's doing fine with it. I was worried with them comming in so late, but then my mom told me that I was 10 months before I cut my first two. They're in a lot more today, and she still has yet to take a nap and it's 12:30.......oh well.

My son got his first two bottom teeth at 4 months. The younger they get them the earlier they fall out. My son just turned 5 and the dentist just informed us that two of his baby teeth are almost ready to come out.
