we have two very pretty cockatiels but they are SOOOOO MEAN they will bite you and you will bleed. I love them and cant seem to get rid of them but yet I want birds we can hold, ya know? But this morning my daughter decided she was going to open the cage and they male got out, meaner then the female. I just had to chase that damn bird around the house with a towel trying to catch it, I would not dare touch it with my hands. LOL I finally got it about 5-10mins of chasing the bird. I actually thought I wouldnt be able to catch it b/c I am scared of them, haha!

Birds...ugh! No offense but I am genuinely afraid of them for some reason. I would have opened every door and hoped they'd fly away. But I wouldn't have them in the first case, I guess. I'm sorry you had to go to so much work though.
