Bruised Rear End.

I noticed last night that my DD has a bruise on her rear end. It is exactly where she usually gets a red mark from sitting on the potty for too long. She's not complaining about it or acting like it hurts to sit, but I still feel bad for her. Sometimes she wants to just sit and sit on the potty and read a book.

Do I buy another potty chair with a cushioned seat? She doesn't care for sitting on the big toilet.

I just feel bad for my pumpkin. Has this happened to any of your children?

Happy to report she went on the big potty with a cushy insert. I also just ordered another potty chair with a cushy seat that can also be used as an insert for an adult toilet.

The bruise is already gone. It must not have been too bad. I swear it was not dirt. Unless I am losing my mind. Possible... ;)

My kids used to get red marks from sitting on the regular (soft) toilet seat. I hope the new seat works out!

Glad it cleared up so quickly!! Peyton uses the cushy insert. I haven't noticed any marks on her, but it sounds reasonable that's all it was.
