This week's TIME magazine has a thoughtful and informative article, "Medicating Young Minds", which explores the use of drugs for children with a variety of mood and behavior problems, examining the pluses and minuses, and with a lot of information. I highly recommend reading this article.

This did sound like an interesting article. I haven't read it but would like to. I don't have any children on medications but I have local friends and "momsview" friends who do. (I love this place).
It will be interesting to hear different views/opinions of the same article.

I don't know, Annie - do a google search for "Time magazine" and see what comes up. TIME does web publish some of its feature articles, but I get it in the mail.

I read it and honestly didn't find that it had anything I hadn't considered already. I have read extensively on this topic, however. Medicating a child is never an easy choice or one to take lightly. With that said, it's the best decision we've ever made for our son.
