Exactly 1 day after her 5 month birthday her 2 bottom teeth came in. Its very excited but at the same time shes being a terror. But thats okay, I dont mind if shes cranky as long as she has a reason (LOL)! Does anyone know how long it takes once the teeth poke through until they are all the way in?

Aw, how cute! Those two little bottom teeth always look so cute. I'm glad her daddy made it home in time for the big event!
BTW, teeth can go up and down! My DS's two bottome teeth were poked up one day, and the next morning one of them was back down! I had always been told it was possible, but never believed it until it happened LOL

Robin's right, I've seen that happen before too, where the teeth poke through and then are back down. However, it shouldn't be too long until they are all the way up.

Brace yourself though, she'll probably be starting in with the next 2, probably the 2 uppers, really soon.

My oldest daughter got her first two teeth when she was 5 months old! Then she thought it was cute to bit mommy when she was nursing. Fortunately, she learned to nurse without biting me!

Is it always at 5 months that they get teeth? my daughter is 2 days older than Kaitlyn but I have not seen any teeth. I know they are cutting but I have yet to see some pearly whites. Is that okay?

My second daughter didn't get teeth until later than 5 months. I don't remember offhand, but it wasn't that early.

DD got her frist two at 5 months as well, she has four on top 4 on bottom right now at 11 months. It seems that they came much faster in the beging she still has quite a few I think? Do they get them all up to the two year old molars right way?
