A tip regarding Lice
Dd had lice last year. We were having a terrible time getting rid of it. Couldn't figure it out. I mean we used the shampoo, we sprayed, we bagged toys. Everything you are suspose to do. We also sprayed the car and her car seat. Well it was the car seat that was the problem. We thought spraying it would be fine. It wasn't. As soon as we washed the cover in hot water....problem solved. I was leary about posting this at first because most of you probably already know to do this and I was thinking you all would think "duh" or that I was pretty dirty, but we really didn't think of it. We really felt we were doing all the right things.
Another tip - and I can't *personally* vouch for this - Jules puts tea tree oil in Madison's hair conditioner - she has never once gotten lice when other kids did - Jules swears by the tea tree oil.
Karen, Alot of people around here use the tea tree oil. And Nancy. Believe it or not some people don't think to treat a lot of things. So I don't think your suggestion is off base.
No one would think you are dirty I don't care how clean you are those da** things can get the best of us! And boy oh boy do they suck!!
One thing about all this lice talk. Some mom will have DD or DS come home with it for the very first time and not feel she is a bad mom because she isn't taking care of her child properly. And she will be educated enough about it to know that anyone that thinks otherwise could be the next to have it invade their home.
