Yeah!!!!!!
Two of my kids went yesterday, too. They are 8 and 6. No cavities, either. My 12 year old dd and 10 year old dd go tomorrow! Hopefully the same news!

My two boys went a couple of weeks ago, and no cavities here either! Woo hoo! What a relief, huh?

Woo hoo! High 5's from us too! Do you think they can talk to Syd about the importance of brushing?? LOL!

By Trina on Thursday, July 31, 2003 - 08:27 am:

LOL, Eve! Actually, I'm surprised B has no cavities because it's always a struggle to get her to brush! Ty brushes his teeth several times a day without prompting. They're like night and day! LOL!

I'm becoming convinced having cavities has nothing to do with teeth brushing. My son should have a mouth full of cavities due to his intolerance of brushing (he has sensory issues), but, nope, not one. He's 8. I take him for cleanings every 3 months. I used to say "If you don't brush your teeth, you'll get cavities" but I stopped saying that when he was 5 or so. It was an empty threat.

Mommmie, I also have sensitivity issues (which may not be what you mean by sensory issues), and using Sensodyne (at my dentist's recommendation) has really helped.
