Want a good chuckle, at MY expense?!
*Heavy Sigh* My DD (almost 5) is a spirited child who is notorious for getting into all kinds of things and making big messes. Despite the fact we keep a close eye on her, she's very quick and takes advantage of every opportunity to embark on an adventure. Our handyman is coming later today to discuss work we'd like him to do, so I was preoccupied with picking up the house so it wouldn't look like a tornado hit when he got here. I began cleaning and kept checking on DD every 10 min. or so. She was playing "zoo" with her stuffed animals in our room (master bedroom) so I *thought* it was harmless. Do you see trouble brewing??! LOL! Wellllll, I went in to check on her again and, are you ready for this? I found her sporting a condom on each hand. AWWWW!! Apparently she had been rooting in our night stand. I didn't know whether to scream or LMBO! I calmly removed them and told her to go wash her hands. (They were lubed! Ewww!) She asked, "Mom, WHAT are these for anyway?" I matter of factly stated, "Oh, you'll learn about them when you get older, but they're not to play with," as I shooed her into the bathroom. OMG! Wait until DH hears this. He is going to ROFL! Thought you all would enjoy a good chuckle.
ROFL That is too funny!!!
Life is never boring with kids...LOL Great story
That is hilarious, wonder if one day she'll look back and remember this, and say, "oh, NOW I get it!" LOL
Oh man, that is TOO funny. And when the big sex talk comes hopefully she won't remember that incident. BTW... how the heck did she get them open? I've seen grown men unable to tear the little package open!!!!! Lmao!!
ROFL Trina! Part of me wishes you had taken a pic of that!!!!
That is priceless! Thanks for the laugh!
ROFL!!!!!!! Crystal...too funny!!!
Oh, Trina ... I have to say, I think you handled it just right! Thanks for the chuckle. And, how about a lock on either the bed table drawer, or a "better" place for the items. Though, having been through the raising of a child who got into everything, I can't think of a "better" place that isn't locked - which is not exactly what you want to do.
OMG, write it down Trina, you will all laugh at this when she gets a lot older.
At least she didn't walk out when the handyman was there! Too funny!
Trina, yes it would have been more funny if she had them on when the handy man got there! I might move them, once they find something so fun it is likely to happen again! Ahhh the joys of parenting!
Trina, That is so funny! I'm sure hubby will get a good laugh!
Really...I'm not laughing AT you, I'm laughing WITH. Too funny! Let us know what DH thinks. My mom was here in the fall helping me paint and we were talking. She told me that as an elementary student she had found this racy black pair of panties and bra (I think with the nipples cut out of the bra a la Frederick's of Hollywood) in her parents' bedroom. She took them to her mom and asked about them and her mom nonchalantly said, "you know how you and your sisters like to play dress-up? Well, those are my dress-up clothes."
At least the handy man didn't find her first
omg this is so funny trina ... she will die of embarrassment when she is teen and u remind her of this ...when my dd was in the 4th grade her and two other girls the same age use to walk down the street yellin at the top of thier lungs "TROJAN MAN " like on the radio commercials that use to run ... well its not like i didnt pay attention to them but it took a few days to sink in that it was my daughter as part of the group sayin this ... ( they were studyin the rennasance medevil time u know ) well anyways i was in the back yard and heard them when my mom was visitin ..of course lol.... and i started laffn so hard i couldnt stop ... i went in the house and called them in to talk to them and explained to them what a trojan man stood for as they were sayin it ... they all got the gigglies and then turned red as then they remembered they had been screamin it all thru the neighborhood ... they hid out that week hopin everyone would forget about it lol poor kids ...
