Randy's standing out at the bus stop waiting for the bus for his first day of middle school! He's a 7th grader this year. I'm sitting in here getting all teary eyed because my "baby" is starting middle school! How pathetic is that?!? Robin would have started high school today if we hadn't held him back in 8th grade. He's still in bed (hs'ed). *sigh* I'm not ready for this. Oh well. Nothing I can do.

Awww!! I know what you mean...my kids don't start until the 28th, but ds will be in 9th grade this year, and I know I'll have tears that day. And don't even get me started about dd who we'll take to college next year....I'll need a bucket! DH doesn't understand, lol. I just say, "Well, I'm a mom, I can't help it!" Of course, I've been known to cry over commercials, lol!!

Cat our middle school starts in 6th grade i was worse off sending nick to middle school i think than sending them to kindergarten because when they get into the higher grades it seems are more cruel than when they are younger.But good news is i had no problems last year at all = ) woohoo lol...report back and let us know how his first day was..

I can totally agree with this year. Timmy is starting kindgergarten on the 23rd. We went for orientation last week and I came out of there with tears. I call DH and promptly told him I've changed my mind and Timmy's not going.
