Does anybody know the facts on if you can actually get pregnant while on your period?
I have a regular 28 day cycle which supposively means I ovulate between 12-14 days....
If I showed traces of blood on my 28th day and 29th and then stopped bleeding as of now which would be my 30th day, if we (me and my significant other) had a OOPS :0) a big OOps!!
what are the chances, and should I be concerned???

There is always a chance of getting pregnant. Women's bodies are quirky! Call your doctor. Or do a pregnancy test.

I am not sure how long you have to wait to do a pregnancy test though.

Lets face it no birth control is 100% effective. It might have happened in the middle of the month too!

It is possible but pretty rare, expecially if your period is always regular. I would go ahead and do a home test to ease your mind. If you had sex on another time during the month then the chances would go up.

well this just happened over the previous weekend which also fell on my 28,29,and 30th days in cycle, but I have not started again, so it is probaly way too soon to take a test, what do you think??
yes there were several times we had sex earlier during the month, unprotected with the w/d method, but on the 28,29,and 30th day he actually "came" inside of me, (3 times)...

Do a test now. If you didn't get your "normal" period then there is a chance that you got pregnant earlier in the month. The w/d method is one of the least effective forms of BC. Men can leak sperm during intercourse prior to ejaculation and as everyone knows, it only takes one of those little guys...... I personally know several couples who have gotten pregnant using the w/d method (one couple had that particular method fail them twice).

That withdrawal method is not too good.

I know a friend who got pregnant three times with that method with three different men. She then had three abortions. She said she thought the men don't pull out in time.
