I know.. Not much. Need to practice not dropping the last stitch.
Awesome, Feona! You should post a picture!
I think I will make a few more. I need practice. I found some 100% cotton thread that is easy to work with. It doesn't stretch. I think I will throw it in the washing maching and see what happenes to it.
My daughter is really into headbands, I should look into doing this for her. Did you use a pattern? Or can you explain to me how you did it? I have crocheted in the past but it has been years!
Oh no pattern it is really easy. I got 100% cotton baby yarn from the michaels. It is comfortable head band and really teaches you quick how not to drop the last stitch like I was doing. Just make it as thick as you want. It think I made mine 18 stiches long. Then I just kept making sure it wasn't too big for my head. then I closed it using the same crochet stitch. You know I will look for a pattern.
It washed fine.

You can make this warm with warm yarn.
Also this could be longer and be a neck muffle

Same idea for leg warmers.
Thanks feona. Now to get caught up in chores so I can play!
