Dd and I need to make a model of a ladybug and it's enviroment, in a shoe box. I am so not craft it's pathetic. Any ideas? Right now I am thinking she should paint a walnut shell. TIA
Colette: My DD had to do one on dolphins. You can use a walnut or if that is too big, then why not try those little glass flower type beads that they sale at stores like Walmart, etc. They come in different colors and you can find red ones and paint black dots on them. They are rather cheap for a ton of them. You can also find fake leaves on a vine there also. Just an idea. Hope it helps and goodluck.
You can get those chenille pipe cleaners that are really fun They could be turned into bushes or leaves or something. Also, you could use some real twigs from a tree. I like the bead idea listed above! Also, you can buy ladybug buttons that are about the size of a nickel that are really cute. Decorate the inside of the box with the leaves and twigs and maybe some flowers. Maybe look up so little known facts about butterflies online, and then add something that explains that to the box as well. That would be impressive
thanks!
Paint a ladybug on a rock shaped like a ladybug. I used to paint rocks all the time when I was a kid.
