Scrapbooking question

OMG, I did it. My first page. It is very basic, but I love it. I wrote in silver pen on black background the story to go along with the pic's. Finally a craft I love to do! My question is, regarding glueing the pic's onto the paper. I put the glue all over the back of the picture and probably should not have. I was so excited and a little rushed. Do you glue just the corners or around the pic's. Is there anything else I can use to stick the pic's to the paper. I used the scrapbooking glue. Regardless of the little, hardly noticeable ripples I still love it. Of course I would rather have everything even and smooth. I have to say again this is so much fun and I love scrapbooking! Truly a beautiful way to present pictures and preserve memories.
Hooray for you!!! Can you post it for us to see? My favorite adhesive is Hermafix. You can find it anywhere scrapping supplies are sold. It's very clean and easy to use and definitely will not cause any rippling. Congrats on your first page! Enjoy your new hobby!!!
Great job!! Would love to see a picture Were you using liquid glue or gluesticks? I don't like using the liquid glues because of the ripple effect. LOL If I use glue sticks I usually just do around the corners. The Hermafix adhesive that Melanie mentioned is really great. Be careful....you'll get addicted to scrapbooking!
I use a tape runner and don't use glues. So with that I put a small square in each corner, and inbetween each corner if the pic is big.
I use the Hermafix tape runner like Melanie and love it. It was Melanie that recommended it, actually. Although, I was thinking it was a spray when I was looking the first time, then I figured out that it was a tape runner! It's the coolest little tool ever.
Great thanks. I will use that instead. I wish I could post pic's. Not yet though.
