I'm proud to say that I just finished my first 2 pages of my very first scrapbook!! I'm so excited. It's nothing fancy...but it's getting done! I can't wait to do more!
I am actually starting mine too! This will be a christmas present for my mom and right now i am in process of cutting the pics. This will be my first as well

I am a Stampin Up Demonstrator and I find the same...once I get stated scraping, I don't want to stop. Last time I did some serious scrapbooking it was after midnight and I was still doing it :P
I've been working on it the past 2 nights..for 2 hour blocks. It takes me an hour to do one page...and it's not even fancy!! Is that normal?
It is addicting! I find that I do 2 pages in 4 hours when I go out. Usually I will start another 2 page spread. Everyone makes fun of me, but I just talk, have some wine, have some snacks, look at other people's work, and just enjoy it!
Eve, the all day scrap thing sounds like a blast!! I have NO friends near me that are into it.
Go to creativememories.com and look for a consultant near you. National scrapbook day is early may and almost everyone has a big crop in honor of that!
There is also creatingkeepsakes.com! If you click on conventions, there may be one in your area. It looks like fun! I am just going for the shopping for one day, and didn't sign up for any classes. There is a large group going from my area though! We've already said we are going next year! Hopefully, it will be nearby!
