I was thinking..It would be nice if we had a "suggestion box". You know if we have any suggestions about things on this board we could post them in that area. One suggestion I was thinking about:
Would it be possible to add a delete button in the edit section? The section where we're able to edit our own posts that is. This might cut down on having to always contact and Admin. for help, if we mess up or don't like what we've posted then we could delete the message ourselves. I don't even know if this is possible, just a thought

This is an excellent suggestion, and I too wish we could have a Delete button next to the Edit button in our profiles. This would, however, involve getting someone to edit the discussion board program itself, which can be rather risky. HOWEVER, the Discus website does have a way to make suggestions for future updates, & I'll take your suggestion & enter it over there. Ya never know!

As for the suggestion box, I also think that's a wonderful idea, so I'm going to create one! I'll post about it at the board when it's up. Thanks.

A thought. I don't know how much webspace Feona has, and I'm sure we take up alot with posts and pics. But maybe we could have a Prayer Request Board??? I don't know if this would offend anyone or not. I know that some of the ladies get offended by some posts. I personally find this is a good place to come if I need prayer, and I notice a good many other requests too, just a thought.

I've looked at the topics board many times and there are a few of the topics that haven't been used in almost a year.
Baby and Toddler Freebies
Grocery coupons
Teacher Freebies.
Maybe you could do a poll to see if keeping these boards are worth it or not. (?) I have gone there once or twice to just see what was in them and have found some of the links are broken (I'd say at least half) Just an idea.

I realize that the secret valentine board will probably be deleted now that we are done with that. How about in it's place we add a movie/book suggestion board?

People are often posting about good reads/recommended movies and they often get removed from the board eventually and not everyone always writes them down (like me) and it would be great if we had a board just for that.

The chatroom software is off the shelf software. I don't think we can do that without hiring a programmer.
