Citrus Cream Cheese Pull-Apart Rolls
A favorite recipe for Christmas breakfast

1-25 count frozen roll dough
cooking spray
¼ c butter, melted
½ c Craisins, dried cranberries
1 c granulated sugar divided
2/3 c - 6 oz low fat cream cheese, softened
1 T fresh orange juice
1 large egg
1 T grated lemon rind
1 T grated orange rind
5 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 C powdered sugar

Thaw roll dough at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cut rolls in half. Place 24 halves cut side down in bottom of two 9 inch cake pans coated with cooking spray. Brush butter evenly over rolls. Cover, let rise in warm place for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with dried cranberries. Combine 1/4 cup sugar, cream cheese, orange juice an egg. Beat until will blended. Pour cream cheese mixture over rolls. Combine ¾ cup of granulated sugar and rinds...sprinkle over rolls. Cover and let rise until doubled. Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake for 20 minutes. Cover with foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Combine powdered sugar a lemon and drizzle over rolls.

For overnight. After pouring the cream cheese mixture over rolls...cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 12 hours. Continue with regular recipe.

This is a great recipe because you can make it and give one pan away to friends on Christmas Eve and your family can enjoy the other pan Christmas Morning.
