3 c. sugar ¼ T. allspice 1 egg white ¼ T. ground cloves 2 ½ T. water ¼ T. ground nutmeg 1 T. ground cinnamon 8 c. pecan halves ½ T. salt Combine the first eight ingredients and mix well. Add pecan halves. Stir until evenly coated. Spread over a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 F for 50 minutes. Remove to waxed paper while still warm. Allow to cool Store in an airtight container.
