TERIYAKI MEAT BALLS
TERIYAKI MEAT BALLS MEAT BALLS 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 egg 3 T. soy sauce 1 tsp. garlic powder ¼ c. bread crumbs 1 tsp. ground ginger ¼ c. chopped water chestnuts SAUCE ½ c. cream sherry ½ c. water ¼ c. soy sauce 2 T. honey 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. garlic powder 2 T. corn starch Combine top 6 ingredients. Mix well and form into small meat balls. In a fry pan over medium heat brown meat balls in 2 T. oil. Remove and save. In a medium saucepan mix corn starch and sherry until smooth. Over medium heat add remaining five ingredients and stir until smooth and slightly thickened. Arrange meatballs in a large flat roasting pan and cover with sauce. Bake at 275 ° for 1 hour. Serve warm or in crock pot.
