Easy As Pie Fudge
EASY AS PIE FUDGE 3-6 oz. pkgs. or 1 1/2 12 oz. pkgs. milk chocolate chips 1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand) 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips into condensed milk. I beat mine with my electric mixer right in the pan on the stove. It makes it so smooth. Remove from heat and add salt nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Spread evenly in a foil or wax paper lined 9` x 9` baking pan. Chill overnight or until firm. Turn out on cutting board and peel off foil or paper. Slice into squares. Store loosely covered in refrigerator or at room temperature.
