Sasha's Meatballs (The infamous Recipe)
I FINALLY convinced my friend to give me this recipe! She's a veterinarian and when we attended work parties it was *the* hit! *About 100 Frozen Meatballs (you can make your own but this is more convenient) *Sweetened Flaked Coconut * 1/2 jar creamy Peanut Butter * 32 oz. Apricot/Pineapple Jam * 1/4 c. brown sugar * 2 tbsp. lemon juice * 4 tbsp. Chili Garlic Paste (Asian aisle of grocery store) Spread meatballs on cookie sheet, sprinkle a thin layer of coconut over them. Cook at 350F for 15 minutes or until coconut is toasty. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan stir together peanut butter and jam until thoroughly melted. Add brown sugar, lemon juice and chili garlic paste. Heat thoroughly. Mix meatballs and sauce together in crock pot and keep on low heat until ready to serve. (Big Party Hit) Somebody has to tell me if you make these and let me know what you think. DH literally dies and goes off to heaven everytime he has them. It took me a few years to finally get this recipe so i'm excited!
