Cheesy Crockpot Chicken
4-6 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless), 2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup, 1 can of cheddar cheese soup, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder Throw all into crockpot. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. Variation: Just use cheddar cheese soup and some salsa (1/2 cup) and a little water (1/2 cup) and you have a totally different recipe. We call it spicey mexican chicken.
This is one of our favorites. You can also use the brocoli cheese soup. And my kids love it served over white rice or mashed potatoes.
Mmmm That sounds good, too. I'll try it.
That sounds soooo good. I am going to try it tomorrow!
This sounds really good and so easy! I am going to have to give it a try soon.
That does sound good...I'm always looking for good chicken recipes
Sherry, I was just wondering if you add water to your recipe??? I wanted to make it today but forgot the cheddar soup...so I will be doing it tomorrow.
I'm not Sherry, but no water is added.
Renee is right. No water. I also usually use more chicken than what the recipe calls for (since we have quite a few eating) and they love the "gravy" it makes. Hope you enjoy.
Thanks, its in the crock pot now
Sounds like a great idea to try this week....I think I'll throw in some green beans or peas or broccoli with it during the last 1/2 hour or so of cooking (while I'm making the rice or noodles) - easy clean-up, too! Thanks
Had this for dinner last night...it was fantastic and everyone loved it! Thanks Sherry
Your so welcome!
