Chicken D'Van
My son has been wanting this for a week. I got it from a friend at our last duty station. I know it has Miracle Whip in it but trust me it gives it a yummy tangy flavor. I just kinda guestimate the measuring on this. My friend never measures when she cooks so its hard to tell exactly how much goes in. *3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed *blanched or frozen broccoli,thawed and drained enough to cover bottom of 13X9 SOUP MIXTURE-mix in bowl *miracle whip, heaping wooden spoonful *italian seasoning, 1pkg (for italian dressing) *cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans *milk, very little to make creamy about 1/2 can? *finely crushed cornflakes (I use Special K, it has more flavor) *steamed white rice Line gottom of 13X9 with broccoli peices. sprinkle with cubed chicken, spread soup mixture over top. Lightly sprinkle top with corn flakes. Bake 350F until heated through and broccoli is tender..Serve over steamed rice.
Just had to add I made this for DH and its his new favorite dinner. I recommend everyone trying it. Its also very easy to make.
I'm glad he liked it is one of our favorites. Sounds good for tonight! Still undecided on what to make for dinner!
