Just a note...
Still thinking of those of you who have husbands, or others overseas. I hope they return to you soon.
Thank you Colette!!!
Thanks I really appreciate that!
Please dont thank me. Thank them for me and my family.
Colette~ We thank you because so many people do not appreciate the sacrifices they are making. The simple gesture of asking how we are holding up, or letting us know you are thinking of us makes our days much easier to handle. There are a lot of anti-military opinions that we, unfortunately, are subjected to, and it means so much to hear the occasional "Hope all is well, I'm thinking of you!" I guess what I'm saying is you saying "Hey, I'm think of your families, and hope your loved ones come home soon" is thanks enough to us, and means more than you know!!!
Still thinking of you both. Some troops came home to Pease AFB the other night, and the local paper caught a photo of a 3 yr old running into her dad's arms, who had just returned. http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/05202003/news/29540.htm I hope your husbands are home soon.
I am thinking of you two also. Hope you hear from your dhs soon and that they return home soon too. Wish we could give you a much needed "mommy-break".
You do give us that much-needed mommy break. That's why we come here... LOL. Once again, your continued concern and support is so appreciated. It really helps lift my spirits, and I know Amy feels the same way, when someone checks up on us. Knowing people are keeping our families in their thoughts is making this time go by much easier. Thank you. The latest word for homecoming is Oct/Nov. So let's hope that is on target.
Thanks so much for your concern, it truly does mean a great deal to Crys and I. Just by typing a few lines to ask us how we are, you have really touched our hearts and made us feel we are not alone.
Still thinking of you. I hope they are home soon.
Colette, I have been having the week from hell, and had the worst panic attack yesterday. I was terrified DH would call at that time, and find out how hysterical I was, because he would worry about me excessively. It means a great deal to come on here today and see your note. It came at a perfect time, since both Amy and I have been under a lot of stress. But we're hanging in there. Thank you for thinking of us, and any others who have family deployed in this war.
Thanks Colette, your timely thoughts are always appreciated! Thank you!
You girls are so strong! And your dhs too!! What they're going through is unimaginable to me, I know I could not do it! And you girls, well I have had to be a single parent for a week here and there when dh is out of town, but that is nothing compared to the stress you two are under. Crystal I hope your week gets better and Amy I hope your baby turns so you won't have to worry as much. Thank your dhs for all of us over here in air conditioning, with our safe houses and fully equipped bathrooms. And thank you, for being strong enough to hold things together so they could go.
Thanks for your thoughts. I think my week has hit bottom, but I'd better be careful, or something else will go wrong. I'm tired from work, but later there will be a big VENT post from me. I just haven't had the chance to write it, but if I don't vent I think I'll burst!!!!!!
I look forward to the day you girls post and say that your husbands are home! Thank them for what they are doing over there. I have never forgotten about all the soldiers. You both are strong, i can tell. I can't even imagine how you go day in and day out with your kids, working, and knowing your husbands are half the world away. Not to mention Amy about to have a baby. Keep strong. I hope things start looking up for you both.
Laura and Patricia, thanks girls! I will pass the "thank you" on to my dh, and I'm sure Crys will do the same. I can't wait till our hubbies are home either!!!! That will be one of the best days of my life!
