Thanks. I had a very short email from him this week:

Hey Aunt Karen. I'm doing alright over here.I really don't need anything right now but next time I get on I'll give you my address.Things are crazy over here as you can see on the news. One of my buddies was hit in the head with shrapnel, but is doing OK. Well not much time so I'll write again soon.

Justin is still over there, just west of Fallujah. He says he's supposed to be coming back to the US the first week in October. He'll apparently be going straight to his base in CA, and won't be *home* until Christmas.

My X SIL is going to take the train to CA when he gets back - he is her only child, and she's been crazy with worry.
