Hello! My name is Laura and I’m a mother of one. My daughter’s name is Emily and she is just turning 4 years old this month. Sometimes I feel like she’s going on 13 though! I never thought being a mother to one little person would be such a challenge, but it certainly is! One of my friends told me about this online show called “Jen and Barb, Mom Life” and they mentioned in one of the episodes that blogs can be a good place to discuss issues and meet other moms so I just thought I’d try it out!

Its great to connect with other moms. We really do live in another world when kids come into the picture. 4 year olds are amazing. They sound so adult sometimes, We just have to remember that they don't know what half of it means and not take it personally.

Its not an absolute but it is helpful to remember what one mom said to me early in the game- whats good for the parent is ultimately good for the child.
