Hi all. I am a newbie from Indiana. This site looks like a great place to trade parenting advice & tips & to find some new ones. I have 2 great kids. A girl that will be 13 in a few weeks & a boy that will be 7 in July. I am looking forward to "meeting & talking" with all of you.

Hi, Lynn. Welcome to Momsview. Good luck with a 13 year old daughter. Having been one, I don't envy you a bit. I went through the teens with 3 sons, which was bad enough. On the other hand, once my mom and I managed to survive my teen years (barely), we became the best of friends.

No matter what you go through, you will get some good advice, and very straight forward advice , but no one ever puts you down and makes you feel bad about yourself ! Always encouraging !
