I was lucky (if you want to consider it that way) enough that in my city the local women's center had a support group spefically for infant loss...Resolve Through Sharing. I was reading through these posts and found a lot of requests for information on them. I don't think all cities have this specific one but I believe this one is the best for infant loss. Being able to talk to someone who is walking through or has walked through the same situation is so helpful and being able to turn around and help someone else is even more healing. I'll contact the local group I attended and find out if I can find a "locator" website or number to post if anyone is interested in finding if one is available in your city. It was free and they met once a month. I believe for a little while the group even had a support group for subsequent pregnancies after a loss, for infertility, and many of the unique situations that arise after a couple has lost a baby.
