Travel Agents/Booking Packages for Disney?
I asked this on the other thread, but figured some might not read it again: Has anyone ever used Small World Vacations to book a Disney vacation? OR do you ALWAYS book everything on your own? Apparently DH has done more reading than I have and he is saying it looks like this particular travel agent may be THE way to go.
Karen, I have heard good things about them on one of the Disney discussion boards. I, personally, book my own. I just like to do it myself.
The disboards and Unofficial Guide recommend Sue Pastuaro (sp??) from Small World. They are often mentioned on Disney sites as being really good and knowledgeable. And this Sue is highly recommended. But no, I've never used an agent. I have gotten online quotes from them, but never followed thru as the price was never different from what I could do on my own. But having a knowledgeable agent to answer your questions and walk you thru it all isn't a bad idea. They can book your dining reservations and any other special things you want to do like an Illuminations cruise or a dinner show. They would probably be able to help you with Busch Gardens and Sea World, too. I would definitely go with Sue though!
We used them to book our Disney cruise and they were good, for trips to WDW we always do it ourselves, seems like a better deal can be had if you are willing to do the research and work.
